Cream & Gold Marble Porcelain Floor in Justice
This open-plan living and dining space in a Justice home received a full floor tile installation using large-format cream and gold veined marble-look porcelain. The same tile was extended up the feature wall behind the seating area, creating a continuous material connection between the floor plane and the vertical surface. Matching the floor tile to a wall application requires careful attention to grout joint alignment. We ran the horizontal joints of the wall tile at the same spacing as the floor tile layout so the grid reads as continuous where the two surfaces meet at the baseboard. The concrete slab was checked for levelness across the full run of both rooms before any tile was set, and a few transition areas between the rooms were flattened with self-leveling compound.
