Who We Are

Chicago Tile Installer is a tile installation company based at 7355 Archer Ave in Summit, Illinois. We work with homeowners, general contractors, and property managers throughout the southwest suburbs, handling bathroom tile, kitchen backsplashes, floor installations, and shower surrounds in both residential and commercial spaces.

Our crew is small by design. That keeps the work consistent and means the people who estimate the job are the same people doing the installation. We do not subcontract the skilled parts out to whoever is available.

What We Focus On

Tile installation sounds straightforward until you look closely at what separates a job that holds up from one that does not. A few things we pay close attention to:

• Subfloor preparation. Tile fails when the surface beneath it moves or flexes. We check for deflection, fix soft spots, and use the right substrate for each application before any tile goes down.
• Waterproofing in wet areas. A shower or tub surround needs a continuous waterproofing membrane behind the tile. We apply it ourselves. It is not something we leave to chance or skip to save time.
• Layout planning. Where you start a tile layout determines how the finished room reads. We plan the starting point based on the room's focal points, not just the easiest corner to work from.
• Grout and sealing. The right grout width, color, and sealer for the specific tile and application makes a real difference in appearance and long-term maintenance.

Where We Work

We take on projects in Summit, Bedford Park, Bridgeview, and Justice. Most of our work is within a short drive of our location on Archer Avenue. We know the housing stock in these communities, from older ranch homes in Bridgeview to newer construction in Bedford Park, and that familiarity helps us anticipate what a project will involve before we ever open a wall.

Residential and Commercial

We work for homeowners doing a bathroom remodel and for property managers refreshing common areas or commercial restrooms. The standards are the same either way. If you are a contractor who needs a reliable tile sub for a larger project, we are comfortable in that role too.
