Sage Green Vertical Tile Bathroom in Bridgeview
A Bridgeview bathroom renovation used narrow sage green ceramic tiles set vertically to create height in a compact bathroom space. The tiles are a 2x8 inch format, and the vertical stacking orientation elongates the wall visually, which works particularly well in the lower-ceiling bathrooms common in Bridgeview ranch homes. The tile runs from floor to ceiling height on the shower wall and from countertop to mid-height on the adjacent walls, with the upper portion left as smooth plaster. The terrazzo-look floor tile was set in a standard grid pattern with the terrazzo chips oriented randomly for an organic feel. The matte black fixtures were the homeowner's choice and we coordinated the grout color (a dark charcoal unsanded product) to complement the fixture finish without drawing attention away from the tile color.
